Time For Tea | The art of living elegantly
LiuLi Living’s latest tea set collection, The Little Teapot, is made up of two separate tea sets: The Cherubic Bird and Spring of Life. The teapot starring in The Cherubic Bird leans toward the geometric. The floral decals on the body of the teapot are inspired by the famed Ming- and Qing-era painter Bada Shanren whose works of the plump little birds are animated, simple and refined yet robust all at the same time. The Spring of Life tea set, on the other hand, draws from unique ancient Chinese “square” and “round”—the very idea of a “round heaven, square earth”. Philosophically-speaking, the pattern celebrates boundless continuity, the source of life and our roots. The dragon perched on the lid also symbolises strength and authority. Both sets are made from fine bone China and come with one teapot and two teacups. The substantial teapot can hold up to four servings and its size is ideal for maintaining an ideal drinking temperature and strength of tea. A touch of red LiuLi crystal on the teapot heightens the elegance of the tea-drinking experience.
