Da Dong Prawn Noodles kicks off Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre’s Culinary Masters Series Local Hawker Fare Set Lunches for the month of July 2019.

If you’ve ventured to the quiet, verdant neighbourhood of Joo Chiat, you might have come across  Da Dong Prawn Noodles at a corner coffeeshop. Started in 1966 and now helmed by second-generation owner Watson Lim, their prawn noodles are well-loved for their rich broth and plump juicy prawns.

Racines’ Culinary Masters Series Begins with Da Dong Prawn Noodles

Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre x Da Dong Prawn Noodles

For the month of July 2019, you won’t have to venture far from town to get a bowl of Da Dong Prawn Noodles if you drop by Sofitel Singapore City Centre. Racines’ set lunch featuring local hawker fare (from $30 for two courses, and $38 for three courses) will have you covered. If it’s a Tuesday (like today!), save you’re stomach for a bowl of bracing Da Dong Prawn Noodles as your main course. Other days of the week, there’s always Racines executive Chef Andrew Chong’s Bak Kut Teh, a local favourite pork rib soup, or the pan-fried oyster omelette to choose from.
