Guest chef Akira Umehara to present the best of Kyoto cuisine at Capella Singapore.

As part of the A Taste of Kyoto gourmet festival, organised in collaboration with the Kyoto Prefectural Government, Capella Singapore will be welcoming chef Akira Umehara, owner and chef of Sushidokoro MAN from 16 to 20 January 2019.

Set to take place at Chef’s Table, the hotel’s interactive show kitchen, the five-day event will allow diners to savour some of Kyoto’s finest dishes including grilled mackerel with sudachi and chrysanthemum flower, grilled Kyoto beef and shogoin daikon, as well as chef Akira’s signature hand-rolled sushi creations.
