Expect over 1,070 exhibitors of exquisite wines and spirits from 32 countries and regions at this year’s Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair.

Following last year’s success, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will be presenting the 11th edition of the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair 2018 on 8 to 10 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The fair in 2017 was one of the biggest the organiser has ever hosted, attracting nearly 20,000 visitors from 70 countries and regions, and this year’s edition is expected to be just as well received, if not even better than before.

Both exhibitors and buyers were pleased with the positive outcome of the 2017 fair, with many of them sharing that there were numerous opportunities generated from the three-day event.

Buyers can look forward to an array of highlights at this year’s fair with exhibitors showcasing some of the finest wines and spirits from around the world such as Clos Du Val Estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon, which received the highest rank in the 10th anniversary of the Judgment of Paris Tasting; Bleu de Mer’s Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot; TATENOKAWA Junmai Daiginjo “Zenith Dewasansan”; Edel Cider, an exclusive cider from Norway made with organic apples; and more.

Plenty of master classes and seminars

To further enhance the diversity of exhibits at the fair this year, there will be new zones for more options, such as the World of Olive Oil, who will be showcasing their extensive olive oil selection and offering tastings of their oils.

For those who are keen to learn more about wines and spirits, there will be plenty of grand tastings, wine tastings, master classes and thematic seminars held throughout the event, conducted by industry experts. The highlighted events this year are the annual Wine Industry Conference with Debra Meiburg as the moderator and programme advisor while Asia wine Academy is returned on high demand with the two sophisticated lectures, Jeannie Cho Lee MW and Sarah Heller MW. The events equips your for the latest market trend and enhance the knowledge.
