Austrian Wine Week makes a comeback from 12 – 16 November with four thrilling events including a portfolio tasting, two wine dinners and a ‘big bottle’ party!
This year, celebrate some of Austria’s finest wines and delicacies with four exclusive events held at specially selected locations over the course of Leopold Group‘s Austrian Wine Week 2018.
Monday, 12 November (7pm – 10pm)
Kick-starting Austrian Wine Week on Austria’s 100th birthday, Leopold Gastrobar hosts a unique portfolio tasting ($78) of over 50 wines by the glass, presented by Johannes Gebeshuber – the winemaker himself. To pair perfectly with the wine, chef owner Klaus Leopold prepares a selection of Austrian cold cuts for you to enjoy over the course of this unique tasting.

Tuesday, 13 November (7pm – 11pm)
Chef Stephan Zoisl of Chef’s Table by Chef Stephan – a Singapore’s Top Restaurants 2018 one-star award winner – joins hands with fellow Austrian native, chef Lorenz Raich to present a five-course Austrian omakase dinner ($188) prepared and served by the chefs themselves. As you delight in the chefs’ innovative creations, wine maker Johannes Gebeshuber will guide you through indigenous grape variety wines of Thermenregion.

Thursday, 15 November (7pm – 11pm)
Let loose at the ‘big bottle’ party ($118) at LeVel33 while taking in some of the best views at Marina Bay! Indulge in a free flow of exclusively filled big bottles (up to 18L) of Austrian wine and generous pours of Leopold Sloe Gin while mingling with wine makers Gregor Skoff of Winery Zahel and Johannes Gebeshuber, along with Klaus Leopold of Leopold Spirits. Live saxophone music sets the vibe while you drink and feast on Austrian finger foods prepared by executive chef Archan Chan and chef Maksym Chukanov.

Friday, 16 November (7pm – 11pm)
For the final night of Austrian Wine Week, spend an evening at the elegant Swiss Club Singapore, an exquisite 150-year-old structure surrounded by lush greenery. Start with a garden aperitif followed by a five-course seated dinner of fine Austrian cuisine prepared by executive chef Adrian Vogt. Winemaker Gregor Skoff of Winery Zahel will guide you through the wine pairings and elaborate on unique grape varietals such as Gemichter Satz.
