Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer joins Marina Bay Sands’ stable of international F&B brands. Coming on the back of 11 restaurants worldwide, Black Tap Singapore is the New York burger joint’s first outpost in Asia.
You can’t miss it if you’re window shopping at The Shoppes, Marina Bay Sands. The facade of the 133-seater Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer features a vibrant graffiti mural by Singaporean artist Has.J. Flanked by an open Crazyshake bar, the restaurant looks out into its spill-over atrium seating.
“Marina Bay Sands is the perfect home for our first Asia location, and our partnership with Sands has proved to be a huge success with our opening at The Venetian Las Vegas,” says Black Tap owner Chris Barish. ‘Black Tap is all about three things—delicious all-American burgers, out-of-this-world CrazyShake milkshakes and craft beers—and we can’t wait to bring out take on the classic American luncheonette to our current and future fans in Asia.”
Enough said. Definitely go for one of their hearty burgers then, such as the wagyu beef Greg Norman burger ($26) which won ‘People’s Choice’ at the New York City Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash competition in 2015, 2016 and 2017. Have it with one of their 15 milkshakes including eight flamboyant CrazyShakes, jam-packed with dazzles, sprinkles, and other sweet treats. There’s their signature cotton candy strawberry shake ($22) and their Bam Bam fruity pebbles shake ($20), just to name a few.
For something just as fun but just a little stronger, go for their tasty beers such as Brooklyn lager ($5.20) and Singapore Blonde Ale ($4.50), as well as a selection of cocktails such as Black Tap mule ($21) made with vodka, fresh ginger, cucumber, lime and club soda.
