Started by a pair of sea-loving siblings, one an ophthalmologist and the other a lawyer, EagleWings Loft at King Albert Park Residences is an offshoot of the owners’ private yacht-chartering service.

The restaurant’s location at KAP residences is pretty far out if you don’t live in the West, but it is a stone’s throw from the King Albert Park MRT station. Expect casual grub of the sort you would have enjoyed onboard had you hired a yacht for a fun day out. The menu features a mix of Western and Asian favourites ranging from salads, burgers, pastas, pizzas to Asian one-dish meals such as Singapore famous fish soup ($12) and Indonesian fried rice paradise ($15).

If you happen to be in the area, we recommend trying their lobster risotto ($38), an extremely moreish creamy version with lobster and scallop chunks, prawn and tobiko; along with their bacon and egg wagyu burger ($18) featuring a juicy slab of chargrilled wagyu beef, melted cheese, bacon and egg with toasted brioche.

For dessert, end off with one of picture-perfect confections, such as chocolate cherry dome ($14), a chocolate cake with berries compote, strawberries and meringue. Pair it with their novel EagleWings specialty coffee set ($12), where you concoct your own coffee potion with concentrated coffee cubes, butterscotch, chocolate sauce and vanilla gelato.

A separate ‘fine dining set menu’ is also available, should larger parties wish to hire one or two of their private rooms for special events.
