London Fat Duck at Scotts Square is a Hong Kong-style restaurant serving a selection of dim sum, Hong Kong-style wonton noodles, dumpling soup, and roast ducks.
While the noodles and dim sum are excellent, the star here is the roasted duck (from $16.80), made using the best Irish duck, also known as the Wagyu of ducks. The ducks are prepared using chef’s secret duck roasting technique and a special heritage recipe. The end result is a bird that boasts crispy skin and succulent meat.
Enjoy the roasted duck alongside a variety of dim sum dishes, such as the signature black pepper London duck bun ($5.50), Hong Kong egg tart ($4.20), crispy pandan snow custard bun ($5.20), and the shrimp in beancurd skin fritters ($5.20). For heartier items, there’s a selection of noodle and porridge dishes to choose from such as the Hong Kong wonton noodle ($7.80), crackling pork belly noodle ($8.80), Alaskan king crab congee ($9.80) and century egg congee with shredded pork ($7.80).
End off a hearty meal on a sweet note with classic Hong Kong-style desserts, such as chilled osmanthus jelly with wolfberries ($4.20), mango puree with sago, and chilled aloe vera jelly with chrysanthemum ($4.50).
