A brand that needs no introduction, Lady M New York is best known for pioneering well-loved mille crepes. The American confectionery was introduced to Singapore in 2013 by Caerus Holding Group, and has since amassed a loyal following.
At its Scotts Square outlet, which features a chic white design aesthetic and a minimalist decor, diners can look forward to the brand’s signature mille crepes ($9.50 per slice), featuring 20 paper-thin handmade crepes layered with light pastry cream and a gently caramelised top. Exclusive to the Scotts Square outlet is the rose mille crepes, layered with rose-flavoured pastry cream and decorated with sweet rose jelly and edible rose petals.
This delicate French-Japanese creation is also available in other flavours such as Citron, Chocolate, Marron, Green Tea, and Signature (Vanilla). Light and airy, the crepe layers are so thin that it practically melts in the mouth. We really enjoyed the Japanese-style pastry cream as well, which is fluffy and frothy with a pleasant tinge of sweetness.
Other notable highlights include the Checkers cake ($9.50 per slice) and the Coffee Mousse cake ($9.50 per slice). The former comprises a checkerboard of chocolate and vanilla sponge, layered with fluffy cream filling and coated with decadent chocolate ganache. The Coffee Mousse cake consists of a frothy light coffee mouse cake paired with chocolate mousse and double layers of whisky-infused chocolate sponge. For those who prefer lighter options, try the Strawberry Shortcake ($9 per slice) and Yuzu Cheesecake ($9.50 per slice).
Wash it all down with the Crème de la Rose tea ($7) or the Matcha Latte ($7.50).
