Si Chuan Dou Hua’s Nostalgic Dim Sum Buffet Feast is back, offering 40 exquisite dim sum dishes.
Looking for a dim sum place that offers quality, variety, and is most importantly value-for-money? You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better restaurant than Si Chuan Dou Hua at PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road. The Sichuan stalwart recently reintroduced its Nostalgic Dim Sum Buffet Feast, offering a fine selection of handcrafted dim sum dishes.
Jointly created by executive chef Leung Wing Chung and master dim sum chef Wen Xin Wen, the refreshed menu features a variety of steamed, deep-fried and pan-fried dim sum dishes, as well as double-boiled soups and desserts.
One of our favourites from the new additions is the deep-fried signature pork belly roll with yam, a spin-off from chef Leung’s signature pork belly roll with yam—the steamed version—which he has taken up a notch by coating the bun with soy bean crisps and frying them till golden brown for added flavour and texture. Crispy on the outside yet moist and soft on the inside, this dish is addictively delicious.
Other notable items include the double-boiled chicken soup with abalone, sea whelk, cordycep flowers and conpoy; and the flatfish with signature soya bean crumb in osmanthus sauce, available in single servings only.
The dessert selection tempts with an array of classic items such as the double-boiled lotus soup with mini glutinous rice ball, the refreshing water chestnut with lemon, and the establishment’s signature homemade bean curd with wolfberry.
Priced at $38 per adult and $22.80 per child (a minimum of four adults is required to dine), the Nostalgic Dim Sum Buffet Feast is available daily for lunch. From now till 17 June 2018, diners can enjoy the dim sum buffet at a promotional price of $118 for four adults.
