On 10 February, brothers Joseph and Daniel Schofield get behind the bar at Tippling Club and present an exclusive cocktail and bar bites menu.
Known in the local cocktail scene for interesting concepts like their latest gummy bear-inspired menu, Tippling Club partners up with Coupette, one of London’s newest bars. Coupette’s assistant bar manager is Daniel Schofield, who happens to be younger brother of Tippling’s head bartender Joseph Schofield. Coincidence? We think not—the brothers seem to have a knack for making drinks.
Come 10 February, the Schofield brothers do a bar takeover at Tippling Club and present an exclusive menu ($155 per pax) of six cocktails and five small plates. Each Schofield brother will be bringing three cocktails to the menu, while Tippling’s head chef takes charge of the small plates.
Guest to Singapore’s cocktail scene, Daniel showcases his skills with an interesting lineup of drinks. Expect Board Room, which highlights the flavours of smoked cherry wood; and Champagne Missionary Downfall, a citrusy and refreshing cocktail. The highlight would be a Coupette signature called the Ramos/Gin/Figue, Daniel’s take on the classic Ramos Gin Fizz—comprising of gin, heavy cream and orange blossom water.
Then we have Joseph, who is well-versed with the local scene and flavours. He will be presenting the Sonic Negroni, his take on a Negroni, which is aged in minutes by using ultrasonic sound waves. Also on the menu is Lust, which is on Tippling’s current bar menu. His final concoction, however, remains a mystery but you can bet that it will be just as intriguing.
