What Opened by restaurateurs Indra Kantono Gan Guoyi, this 25-seater whisky bar isn’t your usual brooding, leather-clad, masculine joint. Rock music, neon-lit signs and brick-exposed walls give this place a laidback 80s vibe reminiscent of the movie, Cocktail. The bar offers 100 labels of whiskies, including Old Pulteney Scotch and Japan’s Ichiro Malt Whisky. Senior bartender Jerrold Khoo and bar programme director Aki Eguchi also serve up three cocktails that would change on a daily basis. For bites, try the Pok Pok Chicken Wings—fiery goodies flavoured with Vietnamese and Thai spices.
